How ITSSOSO handles personal, business, event, location, and platform information.
This policy covers Personal and Business workspaces, public and private events, business claims, venue/service planning, Marketplace, messages, media, location context, and automated platform tools.
Privacy scope
This Privacy Policy describes ITSSOSO's platform practices. Third-party websites, payment providers, ticketing platforms, businesses, venues, event-service providers, advertisers, embedded services, and linked tools may have their own privacy practices.
1. Information you provide
Depending on the features you use, ITSSOSO may collect account details; email address and other contact information; preferred city; profile settings; business claim and authority information; business and provider profile data; venue spaces, packages, availability, service areas, and pricing; public and private event details; guest requests and RSVP information; messages; Marketplace listings; photos and media; reports; support requests; billing or subscription status; and other information you choose to submit.
2. Information collected through platform use
We may collect technical and usage information such as IP address, device/browser information, timestamps, page and feature interactions, search and filter activity, city/district context, login/session information, security events, message metadata, upload metadata, referral information, claim status, workspace actions, plan/entitlement status, diagnostics, abuse signals, and error/performance information.
3. Public information
Business profiles, venue/service profiles, public events, signals, Marketplace listings, public descriptions, public media, public prices, public business contact information, service areas, public availability guidance, and other fields intended for discovery may be visible to the public, search engines, and automated systems that access public web pages. Do not put confidential information in public fields.
4. Private Event Rooms and restricted information
Private Event Rooms may contain restricted information such as exact location notes, host instructions, invite/access information, guest contact information, access requests, private discussion, room media, bring-board activity, volunteers, event-service attachments, budget planning, and timeline tasks.
ITSSOSO is designed to keep restricted room details out of public event summaries. Hosts and members must still use care when sharing invite links, access codes, screenshots, addresses, guest information, and private content. ITSSOSO may access or preserve restricted information when reasonably necessary to deliver the feature, investigate abuse, enforce policy, protect users, respond to legal process, maintain security, or recover systems.
5. Business claims and commercial profiles
Business claim review may involve submitted proof, account information, public business information, website/domain signals, contact information, ownership or representative assertions, claim history, and fraud/risk signals. Event Business Setup may store whether a business is a venue, event-service provider, or both; whether it operates physically, through a service area, or in hybrid form; and the cities it says it serves.
6. Location information
ITSSOSO uses city, state, district, address, latitude/longitude, venue location, and service-area information to power local discovery, maps, matching, and event planning. Business addresses and public-event locations may be public. Restricted private-event locations should remain in protected fields.
If ITSSOSO later collects device precise geolocation beyond what is reasonably necessary for a requested location feature, any legally required notice, consent, limitation, or privacy-choice controls should be provided before that use.
7. Messages and communications
Messages may connect users with businesses, venues, providers, sellers, organizers, and ITSSOSO support. We process message content and metadata to deliver conversations and may process them for abuse prevention, support, fraud/security review, policy enforcement, and legal compliance. Private messages are not advertising inventory.

9. Automated ranking, matching, and AI-assisted processing
ITSSOSO may use rules, scores, filters, ranking systems, matching systems, diagnostics, moderation systems, or AI-assisted tools to organize public content, detect risk, recommend venues/services, summarize information, or support users. We may use platform activity and content as inputs to those systems when reasonably necessary for the stated purpose.
Where applicable law provides rights related to certain automated decisionmaking, ITSSOSO will evaluate and provide legally required notices or choices for covered uses. General local discovery ranking and event planning are not intended to make decisions about employment, credit, housing, insurance, or medical eligibility.
10. Service providers and disclosures
We may disclose information to vendors that help us operate hosting, infrastructure, security, email, analytics, support, media delivery, communications, payment/subscription services, fraud prevention, or similar platform functions under appropriate arrangements. We may also disclose information when directed by you, needed to complete a feature you request, required by law, necessary to protect users or rights, or part of a corporate transaction.
When an organizer contacts a venue or service provider, information included in that request is shared with the selected business as necessary to facilitate the relationship. The receiving business may have its own privacy obligations and policies.
11. Sale, sharing, targeted advertising, and sponsorship
ITSSOSO does not sell private conversations to advertisers and does not intend to sell personal information for money. If ITSSOSO activates advertising, analytics, or cross-context behavioral advertising practices that are legally treated as a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising, we will provide the notices and opt-out mechanisms required by applicable law before or when those practices apply.
Boosted or sponsored content may affect content visibility but should not require disclosure of private Event Room content or private messages to advertisers.
12. Cookies and similar technologies
ITSSOSO and service providers may use cookies, local storage, pixels, server logs, or similar technologies for login/session security, preferences, fraud prevention, performance, analytics, embedded features, and—if activated—advertising measurement. See the Cookie Policy.
13. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including account operation, private-room continuity, business ownership history, fraud/security prevention, dispute handling, legal compliance, financial records, backups, and platform integrity. Retention periods vary by data type and legal/operational need.
Deleting an account or piece of content may not immediately remove information from backups, security logs, legal holds, completed transaction records, or records that ITSSOSO must retain to protect users, enforce rights, or comply with law.
14. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and operational safeguards appropriate to the platform and information involved. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Protect your login, do not reuse access codes carelessly, and report suspected unauthorized access promptly.
15. Children
ITSSOSO is a general-audience service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13 without legally required parental authorization. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact support so we can review the issue.
16. Your Privacy Choices and rights
Depending on where you live and which privacy laws apply to ITSSOSO, you may have rights to:
California residents may have rights under the CCPA, as amended, including rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale/sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and receive equal treatment, subject to legal exceptions and applicability thresholds.
How to submit a privacy request
- Email support@itssoso.com with the subject Privacy Rights Request, or use the Contact page and clearly identify the request as a privacy request.
- Tell us the right you want to exercise and the email/account involved.
- We may need to verify your identity or authority before completing a request. Do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive documents by ordinary email.
- If applicable law gives you a right to appeal a denied request, reply to the decision and state that you are requesting an appeal.
Where legally required and relevant to an enabled sale/sharing practice, recognized browser opt-out preference signals may operate as opt-out requests. If ITSSOSO does not engage in the covered sale/sharing practice, there may be nothing to opt out of for that signal.
17. Communications choices
You may unsubscribe from optional marketing communications using the provided unsubscribe method. Service, security, transaction, policy, and account notices may still be sent when reasonably necessary. City-update preferences may be managed through available subscription controls.
18. International and interstate use
ITSSOSO is operated from the United States. If the platform expands internationally, additional regional notices, transfer mechanisms, age rules, or consent requirements may apply and should be implemented before covered processing begins.
19. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy as the platform, vendors, or law changes. Material changes should receive a new effective date and appropriate notice. The effective date is fixed to the actual policy version and does not automatically change each day.
