Advertising & visibility

Transparent promotion for a signal-first city platform.

ITSSOSO does not operate like a generic ad network. Our visibility model is built around active signals, city relevance, freshness, and clearly disclosed amplification.

No hidden placement

Paid participation should not secretly replace relevance, freshness, or trust.

Boosts are disclosed

Boosts amplify qualified content. They do not turn bad or stale data into trusted discovery.

No sale of personal data

ITSSOSO should not sell personal user data to advertisers.

Our position

ITSSOSO is built to help people understand what is actually active in a city. That means we protect the difference between organic city movement and paid amplification. A business can boost visibility, but the underlying listing or signal must still be legitimate, city-scoped, and timely.

Boosts versus ads

Boosts are platform amplification tools. They may increase visibility for a business, signal, event, marketplace drop, or private-room teaser, but they should remain attached to real content with a valid owner, city, timing, and public display rules.

Boosts can

  • Increase visibility for active content
  • Support launches, events, and timely offers
  • Help businesses reach people nearby

Boosts cannot

  • Bypass trust or safety checks
  • Override city/district truth
  • Hide sponsored/boosted context when required

Sponsored content

If ITSSOSO introduces sponsored editorial packages, city partnerships, or promotional placements, they should be clearly labeled and separated from normal Discovery logic. We will not present paid editorial as independent editorial coverage.

Advertiser and partner standards

We may reject or remove promotional content that is misleading, unsafe, discriminatory, illegal, counterfeit, spammy, or inconsistent with community and marketplace standards.
