How ITSSOSO handles advertising, sponsored content, and paid promotion.
Our Approach to Advertising
ITSSOSO is not an advertising platform. We do not sell banner ads, sponsored search placements, or paid editorial coverage. Visibility on ITSSOSO is earned through platform participation — activity, engagement, trust, and boost usage — not advertising spend.
Boosts Are Not Advertising
The boost system temporarily amplifies a business or signal's position in discovery. Boosts are a platform feature available to all users on paid plans. They are transparent — boosted content is surfaced higher based on a boost multiplier applied to the pulse scoring algorithm, not a paid placement auction.
No business can pay ITSSOSO to appear in editorial features, curated lists, district highlights, or organic discovery rankings.
Sponsored Content
ITSSOSO does not currently offer sponsored content, native advertising, or brand partnership placements. If this changes, we will update this policy and clearly label any sponsored material.
Third-Party Advertising
ITSSOSO does not display third-party advertising networks or sell audience data to advertisers. We do not use behavioral tracking for ad targeting.
Business Listings Are Not Ads
Business anchors and signals are organic listings created and maintained by business owners. They are not paid advertisements. Free accounts have access to the same listing tools as paid accounts — upgrade plans affect amplification, not listing access.
